I don't understand how to make the server work so it works for every one....

thats the link, the site is so it says... so how to do get started. or any thing.. I can change the html easy i just odn't know how to make it so any one can see it.

If you have a firewall you will need to open Port 80 (HTTP) for allow people to connect to you. Then you will need to find your ipaddress, you can do this here http://www.aprelium.com/ip. Then you should be able to connect to your server using the ip givin.

nm i think i kinda get what your saying, port 80 is (http) ok...
but stil when


142.166.96.239

thats my ip, what do i do with it ?

Since you changed the web servers port , you need to setup the address
like http://142.166.96.239:port and then you should see the web page.

i know a service that u can use to get rid of all that ip junk no-ip.com they will automatically sync your ip wiht hostnames that are free(mine is free-space.myftp.org ) and becase most ip's change you don't have to worry about it becoming out of date
also this is all free

Yes now that i have a name and a host for my IP
what the .... do I do lol, i mean the site does not connect to the ip any ways, it only shows up once i have the thing it gives.

what do i do....

cool, umm, I think lol i changed it to port 1800

if thats what you want. thats what needs to be there for me to go into the control thing. and sure I'm on msn all the time, just let me know who you are if you add me lol.

What you should do is look up port numbers first, you have no idea if your port your using is used or reserved for a specific service...
