Does your router assign the LAN IP's? like does each computer that powers on get a 192.168.1.xxx if so are you sure your router settings are correct. Double check it becaue i know it happened to me alot ( my LAN IP always changed, and screwed up my other apps like the FTP. ), to fix this goto command prompt and type ipconfig /all and keep this window up (windowed, alt-tab if it isnt), then goto your LAN settings (Control Panel//then right click Local Area Connection) Click on Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), note: do not uncheck it, just click it. Then click properties then use the following IP address come up with 192.168.1.xxx i would recommend a number that no other comp is going to use like 192.168.1.100 then go back to that command prompt and fill in the rest, as because all the networks are different. Then goto your router and make sure the xxx or 100 ip is forwarded, for your case 1027, for the game server check their website for a setup guide so you know what ports to forward (but i did that and i ended up opening up all the ports just to get my counter-strike server to work =x). When your done double check your ip ( http://www.whatismyip.com ).
That is my solution, enjoy =). |

well i tried setting the IP address 10 192.168.1.102 ((it only allows 4 numbers)) then setting the webserver to run thru port 102 and forwarded that port
but when i set that IP address i lost all internet and so im back at obtaining IP automaticaly
((also the game server is down i guess for the same reason that the website is inaccsessable if i can fix one i think i can figure out the second))
well currently i have forwarded a bunch of ports for the sevrers but everything is running thru port 100, i connect thru 192.168.1.100 to my webserver and T2server but since it is a network IP no1 else can
i am gunna try forwarding port 100 |

Lemme explain something, that 102 is not the port. Its just sort of like the location of your computer. Abyss runs off port 80 (well assuming your running off deafult). If you forward port 100 your going to get the same problem becaue you still havent forwared the port that the web server uses. Solution set abyss to port 80, and foward port 80. (or replace it with w/e number you want, but i would HIGHLY reccommend 80.)
P.S. After you set your internal IP, restart your comp.
And yes no-one else can connect via 192.168.1.xxx unless they are on your LAN, goto http://www.whatismyip.com and tell them that number. _________________

http://t2clans.no-ip.info if the first link failed this wont work either..
i had a slight setback in getting this fixed but im on it again i have forwarded the port abyss uses and got the DNS to use new IP but so far i dont think it is working and im at the same place i was before
my whole netwokr is dynamic and all IPs are assinged via DHCP |
