I am wondering how the security is with Abyss. I am currently using Thttpd, which is quite secure, especially if you run it chrooted, which I dont.
Any issues I should know about? |

Actually no , Abyss is pretty secure web server , we haven't see any security
holes in this server for like 8 months lol , well the case sensitivity of the
user access was one , but its now fixed , try the server out , it rules. |

Abyss conforms to the user permission/security rules of UNIX systems. No access can be made outside the directories you've configured as available to the server.
Still, it is a good practice to create an operating system user (for example websrv) and to configure Abyss to run using this OS user priviledges. The files Abyss should server must be owned by this user. _________________ Beta Testing Team
