Hey Goose , the problem is fixed , I sat down at my desk and walk him through all the steps , his
server is working fine , what I think it was is the XP Firewall and the part not having a static
network IP but we did all kinds of port scans , everything to get it working and its now running :)

Again I just want to say the Trust Punk went the extra mile to help someone ready to give up. I'm sure by looking at his post record (1300+ Posts) he has helped many before me. Don't let the name fool ya,, this guy is great.

Nothing fishey here. He helped me get going when no one else could. As a matter of fact he hs helping me st up my 98 machine as a server machine now.

Update:
THe server is now running remotly on a pc under my desk :) I can use remote admin to work on it or file sharing.
TrustPunk really helped mw out with all the settings.
