I am trying to put my website in <Abyss Web Server directory>/htdocs like the tutorial with Abyss says but not sure how. I use FrontPage and try to publish to this but get the message "A web does not exista ta ftp://<Abyss Web Server directory>/htdocs. Would you like Frontpage to create a web at that location?" I click ok then get "Could not find a web server at <Abyss Web Server directory>. PLease cheack to make sure that the web server name is valid and your proxy settings are set correctly. If you are sure that everything is correct, the web server may be temorarily out of service."
Any help regarding this would be appreciated. I also do not know how to check proxy settings. |

To use that option you need an ftp server running, which Abyss doesn’t have.
You can just copy the files from their current location to the htdocs directory.
on a side note: Abyss doesn’t support FrontPage Extensions

You do know that you posted this Topic in a Tutorials section
posting here will make it harder for users to browse for a good
tutorial for the Abyss Web Server , please use "General Discussion"
