Earlier today my computer crashed leaving me no option but to hold the power button to turn if off. After restarting PHP had been removed from my server. IS this normal after a system crash?

No, that isn't normal. Sounds like some sort of virus to me...
Do you run a firewall?

sort of (if u know wot i mean) Im using zonealarm on the medium settings but ive removed my windows firewall cause it blocked all ports

Yes, that's what I meant. Check ZoneAlarm for any "logs" of attacks that happend recently (...does ZoneAlarm keep logs?). Look for any signs that someone tried to get into your server; check the Abyss logs, et cetera.
