Abyss does not support Fast CGI yet but I have done tests
on PHP and PHP executes half the time it takes for a Perl script!

The near future has come and gone. Any target date for FastCGI support?

For most software, major releases are made every 12 or 18 months. The near future means a shorter period and a minor release.

As TrustPunk said, 2.1 will have FastCGI support but we cannot give any ETA for it now.

Thanks, looking forward to the 2.1 release. No rudeness meant, sorry it was taken that way.

Your message was not considered as rude. The reply was just to explain the time scale in software industry. :-)
