For further clarification:
Your web page can be loaded by typing http://(your ip address) into the address bar of your favorite web browser.
If your IP address changes from time to time (this is due to your internet service provider, and chances are it does), go yo www.no-ip.com and sign up for an account. You can then download a program that makes it so that if someone tipe in yourusername.no-ip.com it will go to your unique ip address at the time, i.e. your website.

Newbie here..
Ive allowed the ports for the webserver in my router and still cannot see my web page unless its locally. Ive typed in my ipaddress followed
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:80/ - nothing
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:10000/ -nothing
the local address
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/127.0.0.1/ -nothing
What am I doing wrong. Id like to be able to access my site from the net though my ip address.
