Aprelium, et al.:

I've finished another a program. This one reads access.log (or any other web server log file) at a user-specified interval and informs you -- via a float-over tooltip in the System Tray -- of the date and time that the last entry was written to the log (optionally ignoring your own browsing entries). That is, it is equivalent to your opening the log file with an editor and looking at the end of the file, and is intended to satisfy your curiosity.

The program runs only on any Windows platform. Full documentation and an installation program can be found in a zip file as the "end-of-log-checker" link on my (powered by Abyss) page:

http://www.billanddot.com/downloads.htm

I'd appreciate any feedback on this program.

Regards,

Bill
