Whats the simplest tutorial out there for hosting someones website/domain thingy. I want to give my sister a website, and I tried fooling around with "Users and Groups" and "Access Control" but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know of any good tutorials to use to make it possible for my sister to log in from her comp at university and upload the files into her domain? |

You could always try to set up and ftp server and have the admin account point to the folder where the file are. All she would need is an ftp client.
I use the cerberus ftp server and it's very easy to set up (you could search on good for another if you want though). Set up and admin account and have the path point to the folder.
For the client (to transfer the files), use smart ftp. _________________ New image comming soon...
