|
|
Hi Everyone,
Why will the first two aliases work and not the last one?
Code: |
alias "/phpMyAdmin" "scripts/phpMyAdmin"
alias "/drumsmith" "C:\Program Files\Abyss Web Server\htdocs\registered.233\upload"
alias "/drumsmith/vb3" "C:\Program Files\Abyss Web Server\htdocs\registered.300g\upload"
|
I should ad that 233 is the stable BBS and 300g is the gamma BBS.
Thanks in advance. :D _________________ Andrew J Knifel

ajk,
What do you get when you browse the third alias? _________________ Support Team

I get the typical Explorer error:
Quote: |
The page cannot be found. The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please try the following:
If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly.
Open the 127.0.0.1 home page, and then look for links to the information you want.
Click the Back button to try another link.
Click Search to look for information on the Internet.
HTTP 404 - File not found

The other two links for the phpmyAdmin and vBulletin work fine.
I just want to work on the updated vB 3 before it goes live to the real server.

One other note. When I type http://127.0.0.1/registered.300g/upload/
in the address bar, the page loads fine. Is there a limit to how many
aliases you can run in the web server?
