Well, I tried hosting my domain name with abyss, nobody could access so I called my register and told the to make it not point at my IP (they couldn't access due to firewall)
SO does anyone know where I can find a free domain name hoster with CPanel 6 or higher?
It has to have PHP and SQL support too.

http://www.freewebsiteproviders.com/ to search for free hosts with PHP/MySQL - I think you'll be very lucky to find anyone who provides CPanel for free users though...

You're working on an impossible task. There are none to zero hosts that are going to offer you what you are after.

Why did you have a problem using Abyss? Did you have your port 80 open on your firewall/router? Did you make sure you had your correct IP address?

What kind of domain do you have? Is it a TLD? If so.. If you have a TLD, I would get an address from dyndns.org and have your TLD forward to that. The dyndns.org will keep the same address for you no matter how ofter your IP address changes. This will be the best solution if you don't have a static ip address.

I use dyndns.org and I had to manually route port 80 to my computer due to the router we use.

Did this help? ~ Ryan
