I want to link stuff that is scattered all over my local network. I've seen other servers that supports virtual folders but I dont know if thats necessary.

"Virtual folders" are called "Aliases" in Abyss Web Server and you can easily configure them by browsing the console > Server Configuration > Advanced > Aliases.
