i got the following message:
Configuration file: C:\THOMMY\ABYSSWEBSERVER/abyss.conf
Invalid value for Path in line 3
this are the first five lines of abyss.conf
ServerRoot C:\THOMMY\html
Path htdocs
KeepAlive 10
TimeOut 10
AdvertiseServer Yes
what's wrong? |

ServerRoot must be C:\THOMMY\ABYSSWEBSERVER in your case. _________________ Support Team

If I install abyss into the default folder of C:\Program Files\Abyss Web Server, does this mean I can't make my server root C:\WWWROOT\ ? |

Sure you can, but you must check the file names and the paths you use in the configuration.
For example, if your log file is log/access.log, you should create a subdirectory called log in your new server root. _________________ Support Team
