|
|
This requests a clarification of the answer to the same question posted by machv who wanted to know why the isapi extension (blahblahblah.dll) tried to dowload rather than execute.
The answer was that the extension must be added to the scripts path. My question is how does one do this?
When I select "Scripting Parameters", then "scripts path" ADD, I am asked for the "virtual path" and asked to select the "Interface type" from among 3 CGI possibilities. Which is of the latter is correct?
I entered /isapi/, the virtual directory where blahblahblah.dll) sits and selected CGI. It still tries to download blahblahblah.dll. Am I in going about this wrong?

Try emptying your browser's cache and than try again. Make sure you have
the correct path along with the ISAPI dll's in that folder. |

It worked! Some rainy day when you don't have anything to do :D, I would be interested in knowing why that worked.
Thanks for the quick reply |
