COW is powered by Abyss.. and its wonderful.. thanks!
http://creativeobjectworld.com
This is just a re-director site to my real website which has a dynamic IP so log in and enjoy the slick Abyss serving thats runs entirely in a vrtual RAM drive!
What do I mean by this? you ask.. simple:
I have installed 32Mb virtual RAM disk (yes you can do this on a WinXP) and I load:
1) Abyss + html and jabascript pages
2) Perl + cgi-scripts
3) MySQL + data
wiith 15Mb space free!
Thanks to Abyss and my painfully slow process of deleting everything from a 38MB Perl install so I only had the 8Mb I really needed.. even then Im sure I can do some mroe culling.
So drop in to my COW, create a comfy chair and sit in it.. you see COW is a mlti-user browser-based text-based virtual world
When you start I suggest you visit the training shed.. or just try this:
create a large glass plate
create some cheese
paint it as ellow
put it on the plate
If your feeling adventerous you might want to script the chess or the plate to do something interesting!
remember to shout to other players or just roam around until you find someone to talk with.
PS COW is free, its my hobby, so make good use of it while you can still afford to keep it running. _________________ `__
