Im having serious problems, the webserver says its connected on http://127.0.0.1 on port 9999, when i try and connect to it locally it works fine, but when someone else trys to connect to me using my external IP address it takes them to my routers configuration settings. the ports are open, altho im not sure what the problem is, it may be the router settings with port forwarding? i dont quite know... please help me!
thanks |

Turn off remote configuration on your router, or if possible change its port to one that you do not use. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

If you do not have the option to change the remote access port then simply turn it off instead. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

You either didnt set a default index page or your friend got a password box which he got the password wrong on. If you didnt set a default index page then you can enable a directory listing in the console. Set it to "standard listing" and tell him to try again.
It is working, you just need to get a website on it now :-) _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

Error 401 codes are from User Authentication. You may have gotten this error
because you have set an IP Address Controle Rule, No Directory Listing, or the
Anti-leech isn't setup the correct way. These could all be causes.
So like The Inquisitor said, make sure you have a default index file. |
