I have followed all instructions for configuring Abyss X1 2.3.0.5 to run asp.net applications; however, every time I try to load an asp.net application I get the following error message:-
XML Parsing Error: no element found
Location: http://localhost/aspnet2.0/default.aspx
Line Number 1, Column 1:
I tried just opening the .aspx file from a browser, and got this:
XML Parsing Error: not well-formed
Location: file:///C:/Program Files/Abyss Web Server/htdocs/wr/recipe/default.aspx
Line Number 1, Column 2:<%--
-^
I have both .net 1.1 and 2.0.
These applications work fine on another machine running IIS
Any ideas?

Did you add the program to the "ASP.NET Applications" box in the asp.net configuration, located in the console? If not try that.

Thsnks for responding so quickly!
The local directory in which each of these apps is located is registered as a virtual path in abyss - asp.net applications, but I can't see where to specify an actual application file.
