|
|
May be a hardware issue. I have installed windows many times. About a month ago my monitor burned out so i got a new one. I currently have Fedora 5 on my box. Now when i try to install windows i am taken through the first few steps. I confirm i want to install windows. The Monitor Reads "Setup is Inspecting Your Configuration". Then the screen goes blank. That's it nothing else. Can someone help with this? |

It may be that your monitor does not support the display mode it changes to. Its unusual but not uncommon as I have a friend with similar problems.
Try borrowing a monitor from a friend and see if that works. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

The Inquisitor. thank you. Ihave tried that. The results are the same.I have 2 computers. I have had the new monitor connected to both computers. 2 monitors and 2 windows install discs. Results are the same no matter how you mix them. |

Also I'm going to say drivers, or lack thereof. _________________
