Then *read* it this time. It answers your question exactly, it has been covered extensively many times before. Searching the forum, as directed in the forum rules, would also answer the question. _________________

It might be a good idea to go to and find out what ur IP Adress is.
Then if you want people to see it from outside then the adress will be http://youripadress:80/ noting the port 80 extension.
If you need port forwarding help if using a router ask me. |

Ok, what you need to do is find out what your ip address www.whatsmyipaddress.com is and get a www.dyndns.com account if you don't want people to know your direct ip. With dyndns.com, you can setup a free subdomain address and point it to your ip.
Next, get network magic available at www.networkmagic.com and download the port forwarding add-on available at http://www.networkmagic.com/labs/forwardedports.php
This free program will allow you to monitor your network and forward your necessary ports for your site. It will install the necessary drivers for your router if you have one and eliminate the use of the router setup to forward your ports.
I use this program and it works great! I had port forwarding issues and tried all of the things that portforward.com had, but still couldn't get it to work. Now I have my site up and running at http://igahome.dyndns.org/ and it is very happy. _________________
