You dont need to forward ports with a Hub, if you have a router you do it with that as the IP of your PC will be a DHCP address assigned by the router. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

Ok, but I dont have a router...I read that a Hub just spreads the Internet Connection, file sharing, etc.
So it doesn't have the same properties as a router. Correct?
And USUALLY if your IP begins with 192, your behind a router.
That is my issue, only I dont have a router.
But I'm assuming it's still blocking incoming requests. I'm sending people my STATIC IP Address, but it says 'The Page Connot be displayed'.
I also tried PortForward.com but my models not tin there ANYWHERE. So...
if you can help, Thanks!!! :D

What is your IP shown as when you go to http://www.ipchicken.com ?
Can you tell us a little more about your network setup? Are you in a shared residence/university? What is the last thing between you and the internet? It cannot be the NH1005 hub... _________________

Ok, IPChicken & WhatIsMyIp show 64.228.75.109 .
The setup is a 3 computer network in a household.
And I dont get what you mean "The Last Thing Between me and the internet". Do you mean like a firewall or the DSL Box or something? Im kind of new to networking a bit. |

The device that connects your network to the Internet. Be it a modem, connected to you're hub, or an actual computer, etc. _________________ Olly |

Considering I have DSL (which connects through phone, but doesnt tie up the line), I'm connected with a modem and connected to the hub with a network card. |

You will probably find that the modem is also a router which would explain why you need port forwarding.
Do you know the make/model of the modem?
Once you know these, you can use the information provided by http://www.portforward.com/ to enable port forwarding. _________________ Olly |

I don't need to know the make or model of your hub, as they have no config that needs changing. To access your website from the Internet you will need to know the make/model of the modem (probably printed on the device). _________________ Olly |
