I am running Abyss x1. When I set my broswer to execute a php file I get
"set register_globals to enable in php.ini. I went to the php directory and there is two. I changed both to "on" and I copied the reccomended one to my htdocs folder. I still get the same error message. This must be something simple I amover looking.
Any help would be appreciated

Check the php.ini file again. Then end a php.exe processes in task manager. _________________ My online Portfolio |

You need to rename one of these files (php.ini-recommended & php.ini-dist) to php.ini. the php.ini file needs to be located in either the PHP folder or the Windows folder, NOT your htdocs.
For help on installing PHP see: http://www.aprelium.com/abyssws/php.html _________________ Olly |

rschlueter,
php.ini should be copied into your Windows directory.
If you want to setup PHP without a lot of problems and with a php.ini set to default values which work fine with most scripts, we suggest visiting http://www.aprelium.com/abyssws/php5win.html . _________________ Support Team
