| I have a problem with users on my forums. I can log in, but sometimes after i log in, it didnt realize that i just did. Also, others can register, but when they try to access areas of my forums, they get "this page cannot be displayed." Does anyone know if i configured something wrong with my database and forums? I used phpbb, php 4.4, phpmyadmin, and mysql 4.2. I used the tutorials on http://trustabyss.com and it seemed to work fine except this big problem! |

You have set the domain incorrectly. If you used your IP then it has probably changed. You need to login, even though you get the 404, click back then refresh, you will be logged in, then go to the admin panel and change the domain name to the correct one.

and this should be done in phpbb?
I looked there, it has my IP and its correct. I personally have never recieved the 404 error. any other ideas? |

What IP is it displaying? If is 192.168.xx.xx/10.xx.xx.xx or 127.0.0.1 then its a local IP and is causing the problems.

| it is displaying my ip which was shown when i went to the ip part of help in the server console. |
