| well i have followed the ipb readme and i got to the sm_install.php and click proceed and it just refreshes the page can anyone tell me whats wrong? or if you have had the same problem and how you have solved it |

What is the version of exact PHP you are using?

Try downloading the preconfigured php5 package if you havent already or try downgrading to php4 and see if that solves the problem.

| i tried downgrading to mysql 4 and it works now thanks for all your help though |
