|
|
Hi,
I am looking into streaming live audio and I am wondering if there is a way of pushing an encoded stream from Windows Media Encoder to the Aprelium web server.
Everything seems to be there to do this within WME but I am not sure how to interface it to the server.
Has anyone done it, tried it or have any suggestions, please?
Many thanks,
Peter |

I've never setup a WM stream, only winamp/shoutcast.
Assuming it's the same, it listens on another port completley, and doesn't touch a web server? _________________

PeterReed,
Sorry for the link. It was working fine a few weeks ago. Microsoft seems to like editing and changing their site layout several times a year. _________________ Support Team

not sure if this will help
But castpost.com stores video and music free, then I would embed the player on your site and point the the stream to theirs so they take the bandwith, of the streaming video. more or less the player is on yoursite but the bandwith wont be suck out of it. |
