The 500,000 downloads has been reached on Download.com only. But last year, Abyss Web Server has already surpassed 1,000,000 downloads (from our web site only).
We cannot know exactly how much copies have been distributed in magazines' cover CDs all over the world and from mirror sites (and it would be very difficult to have estimations). But the good thing is that Abyss Web Server is gaining momentum over time and this encourages us to continue improving it and giving better technology to the people. :-)
