External connections can connect to my website as long as they have port 8080 attached to the end. Is there a way to make it so when people just type in my IP it will go to directly to my website instead of the router like it's doing now. |

Not if you're running your server on port 8080.... or any other one besides 80, for that matter. |

p3 is correct although he did not state how to solve your problem! :)
and neither will I. :)
Joking, You will need to get port '8080' forwarded using either no-ip.com, dyndns.com and I think there maybe a few others. I would have gone in to more detail but it's late and I'm very tired. :(
Anyways I hope you gained from my post, Tom. |

Or you could change your port 80 in abyss as well as adding it to port forwarding in your router so people can access it without having port 8080 at the end.
If your ISP blocks port 80 then you will have to use what MrWiseOnes explained. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

Security reasons maybe? He could have another program operating on port 80 and not know how to get rid of it? Numerous reasons. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)
