I have installed abyss and php with no problems, php and html seem fine locally. When I give out the page to a friend to view, it doesnt show to them... they get timeout or err 400 (bad request). I do have someone static ip released from my cable modem provider. I have used dyndns to point to my computer. Looks like it runs the same on my machine whether i do.

http://localhost
or
http://imperceptus.dyndns.org

any advice would be most appreciated.

Thanks

If you have a router, make sure you go into its console and use the port forwarding. This will direct incoming traffic to the server.
