I registered at no-ip.com, for a port 80 redirect, and when I type in the url, all that I get is a blank page, with the no-ip.com advertisement on the bottom of the page. How can I make it so that the page shows up as well?

I found out that my IP changed, so I changed it there, now I get the banner, and a Norton AntiVirus Security Alert that says:

"Norton Internet Worm Protection has detected a remote system that is attempting to access on you computer.

If you've started a program that requires internet access such as online gaming, file sharing, or instant messageing, then select Permit to allow the program to continue.
"

I select permit, but then every time I try to go to it, that pops up again.

Then after a few seconds to 1 minute I get another message that syas:

"The Operation timed out when trying to contact xx.xxx.xxx.xxx"

In norton there will be an option to allow the port you are using, eg 8080. Allow it to act as a server and accept incoming connections. If you get the box that pops up, click permit then also click the checkbox that says 'Use this option each time'.

This should solve your problem.

I just found a problem, my friend trys to go to the page, and nothing loads for him, what could that problem be? I seem to be the only one who can see any of the pages. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Have you opened port 80/8080/whatever you use in your router?
