				Notepad.

FFS, if you can't use notepad there's a problem. It's remarkably easy to make good looking pages with five or six images, and just use CSS and some kickass hex codes.

You could also use Nvu, I used it before, but WYSIWYG still sucks. |

I found notepad sometimes screws up line breaks when you save it (E.G. Make the window small as hell and save, sometimes itll stay with a load of line breaks where the window put them.) so I went searching otherwise. _________________

I've found the same thing as well - I recently transfered my HTML Files to my new computer running Abyss, and all the breaks were screwed. |

I use various apps for web page work, including dreamweaver, NVU, notetablight, notepad, PHP designer, and bradbury top style. For most work I prefer dreamweaver though, its general layout and syntax highlighting are very useful.

I find myself using code view 90% of the time and the CSS rule inspector for the other 10%. I use XHMTL and CSS layouts rather than table based layouts, so having a good code view interface is pretty important, as I have yet to find a WYSIWYG editor that will output clean and standards compliant code. |
