I'm new to this forum, and new to web page design, but I teach myself very fast. I have frontpage 2003, but I see that it doesn't work with abyss. What program can I use instead of frontpage?

Front page has nothing to do with abyss anyway, it only creates the pages. You need to put your saved pages in to the htdocs folder for abyss to access them.

Please read the FAQ http://www.aprelium.com/abyssws/faq.html because it answers your questions about FrontPage (in short, you can use FrontPage to create your pages.)
