hi
Finally i have Abyss server running on Port 80 and when viewing the website/page
on the folder /htdocs where I put a index.html
it gives an error 403 FORBIDDEN
could some one tell me where or what I do wrong????
At this moment I'm stuck again.....
Please advise what to do

You have possibly prevented access to that area via the console with ip control or user control probably. Check your console to see what you've done to make it deny access to you.
(You could try different IPs too, E.G. localhost, or your lan ip, or your wan ip if you have wan loopback.)

Kisoen,
Try enabling directory listing or add an index.html file in the web site directory.

still error 403 forbidden
can't be something else???
I'm using w2003

Is there anything on the 403 page to indicate it is actually being served by Abyss?
What happens when you access your site via http://127.0.0.1 ?

Kisoen,
Please send your abyss.conf file to support@aprelium.com . Let us know also what are the files inside your htdocs/ directory (or your Document Path directiry if you have changed it).
Please do not forget to add to your email a reference to this forum message.
