Ok, I did everything you recommended.
I changes the tag in index.htm to:
<!--#exec cmd="c:\internet\1homeweb\cgi-bin\counter.exe"-->
I changed the index extension from htm to shtml
I set Exec Cmd Execution to Yes and reloaded.
Now when I try loading the page I get Error
403 Forbidden Access.
Please what now? Thanks for your patience.

If you are accessing the page using something like http://yoursite/ you should add index.shtm to the Index files tables. _________________ Support Team

Ok, I did as you say, now IE5 loads about half
the page then gives the following error and stops
loading.
"Internet error in MS internet extensions"
I removed my hitcounter tag from the file
(<!--#exec cmd="c:\internet\1homeweb\cgi-bin\counter.exe"-->)
just to see if that caused the error. It made no
difference. The error returned.
Now what...... |
