I have my website up and running and for some weird reason it will just simply stop responding to queries. If it's on a different comp, it'll give the message "Page Contains No Data" (which is obviously not true considering the index.html file definately *does* contain info) ... and even when I'm at the comp that the server is located on .. I'll try to access the website, and the server icon doesn't show any type off access attempt to it.
What could possibly be wrong?
Any help is appreciated..
Could it be related to the anti-hacking protection of the server? Does that protect simply against someone trying to access the server console, or does it effect the *whole* server? (as in if someone makes x bad attempts on anything, period, then they get banned for y seconds?) |

If you have enable anti-hack it may be possible that you have exceeded x no of bad attempts, and therefor banned.
You may want to increase the number of bad attempts before banning to stop you being banned. _________________ Olly |

Check your access log for multiple 404 errors prior to the server stopping responding for you. If you see a number of 404's and you have antihack enabled, it is quite likely that you have banned yourself... |

I think that's what happened.. Is there any way for me to manually remove a banned user before the time set is up? I've tried looking for a list of currently banned ip's and I didn't find anything. |

Yes open persist.data in the main Abyss dir and remove your IP address from the file.
