DigiSoft Nijmegen,

Is this class file a servlet which is meant to run on the server side or a Java applet?

yes it is a .class file.

I have it on my server, but it isn't vissible, the browser thinks it
has to be downloaded. Here's a link to the file:

DigiSoft Nijmegen,

According to http://www.javazoom.net/jzservlets/jzchat10/jzchat.html , JZChat is a servlet and requires JSP support on the web server side to run.

Abyss Web Server does not support JSP in the current versions. This support will be added in the future.
