It would be great if Aprelium could fix a "light" version of the console, with just text and no images, since I'm not always at home and I need to configure my server trough slow connections some times. I also use my mobilephone to config Abyss, since it can handle regular webpages. Unfortanetly the Swedish GPRS (mobile internet) is pretty expencive, and I pay for the data I've transmitted.

I agree, limited bandwidth can be a problem. I have a slow upload and I mostly access the console remotely anyway. Text and no images :P Perfect.

You can create a light version very easily. All you have to do is to modify the console/console.css file.
It is a standard CSS file and it controls the way the browser displays the console (formatting, images, colors, ...).

could you make a pre-made text only console? I feel it would help a lot of people.

Also just incase someone else wants this console theme , I created a new Mod
on the Abyss Underground forum that displays v2 like the old classic Abyss. :-)
