I have installed PHP and uninstalled 3 times, following EXACTLY the way the page sais to at
http://www.aprelium.com/abyssws/php.html
I then created a test page:
<?php
phpinfo();
?>
Named it test.php and put it in my Root folder. When I go to my webpage address: http//www.mystuff.com/test.php
Nothing happens? I have tried over and over........Can anyone shed a little light and help me out please. I am running Win98 and havent been able to find any posts and answers that help. :cry:
ps: I am using PHP 4.2.3 |

you say you go to mystuff.com/test.php... i might take that too serious, but you should go to http://<your_ip>/test.php _________________ !Keys || MwM^computerware |

I have 2 forums I can use.......1 IS a php forum and I cannot get php to work from following ALL the tutorials EXACTLY as they are written 4 times! It wont work. SO then I turned to asp and you have to install AHTML to run asp and again according to the install on the tutorials it sends you to selisoft website to download AHTML but ahtml is only for NT/2000/XP Again, I am running win98.
:roll:

uninstall everything, reinstall it, download php 4.2.3, the .zip then extract it into c:/program files/abyss webserver/php/ then go to your console and do that stuff which they say in the help _________________ !Keys || MwM^computerware |

I installed PHP in Abyess main folder. Make sure you have your "test.php" page in your "ROOT FOLDER"
Thats where I was screwing up. I thought it was in my root folder and it wasn't. You can open your server console and make sure it is aimed to your root folder. Console--->Server configuration---->Documents Path={YOUR ROOT FOLDER}
Let me know if this helps |
