You can use STunnel , a 128 bit encryption add on to Abyss Web Server. You

can go to www.TRUSTAbyss.com for detailed inctructions on installing this app.

Is it with a 1&1 shared hosting package?

If it is to enable encryption you will have had to purchase a hosting package which included this feature. You cannot install software yourself onto a shared hosting package/server.

If you purchased a dedicated server, you can install what you want onto it, assuming you have root access. _________________ Olly |

One thing I noticed with the new STunnel is that when using Internet Explorer

it just loads for a while and then times out , this is not the case with others. :/ |
