All right, i'm behind a router, which means my modem is ethernet.
Done port-forwarding on my router...
configured firewall...
Started a static IP as from www.portforward.com (static address as for LAN)
IP changes regularly so got a no-ip and dynamic ip client from no-ip
YET, the client feeds my modem's ip to my no-ip, and when i use an external ip from www.aprelium.com/ip, i either get a Cannot be Displayed error or my modem's page...
Appreciate any advice... Thanks :) |

Thats because your router does not support loopback , if you post your IP we
can tell you if your website works , also tell us the port your using on Abyss. |

Erm....
I configured Abyss and router to port 85
and erm, if my ip keeps changing, i can't possibly tell you one...
but my no-ip is http://myabyss.servehttp.com/ and the ip i used for that is one of keep chaning ips from www.aprelium.com
If the main Abyss Web Server X1 shows that it's working all right :D
Edit -> none of my 192.168.x.x are working too... |

Your ISP probably blocks the ports your using or you setup the ports wrong. Im
a Professional when it comes to setting up all routers on any server , I can help
you setup abyss on your router add me to your Windows/MSN Messenger and I
will do my best to get your server running as soon as possible. LateR!

You still need to put the port in localhost too! http://127.0.0.1:85 would be the address if your port was 85. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)
