I am running FreeBSD-4.8 with Apache 1.3. I am wondering how Abyss Web Server would compare to Apache, with the configurability, features, addons, and etc. Also, how does Abyss handle large volumes of requests? Have there been any tests to see how many simultaneous requests the server could handle? How does Abyss compare to security you get/can get with Apache?

aprelium.com is running on Abyss, that should give you an idea of it's ability to deal with large volumes of traffic.
