Hi guys-
What kind of programming skills are needed to create my very own Chat Room. I already know XHTML (of course), learning Javascript, a bit of knowledge of PHP and going to learn MySQL. Am I on my way or is creating a Chat Room a whole other ballgame?

Whole other ball game.
Why not just host a IRC server, and put a web based client on your computer. Or use a already made server and register a channel there.
