PSPAD Rules! (The best code editor in the world!)
I downloaded it and it properly closes conditionals and adds quotes within
your PHP code. You can also view variables and highlight/number code. If
you're a hard core PHP programmer like myself, try this!
This is not spam! I want everyone to check this thing out. :-)

Looks nice, but the Zend Development IDE is the CENSORED. It's not free, but it's worth the price. (If you payed for it.)
It can tell you where functions were declared, where a class is located, suggest code refinement (Which is pretty accurate, too.), etc. Check it out. _________________

Damn that PSPAD looks awful :S :P..
I use Dreamweaver, I never use the WYSIWYG function and in-built CSS stuff etc.. but I like the code highlighting to much and it has support for Coldfusion code highlighting :P. The words that are highlighted are easily edited, added and deleted.
But I'm still searching for an editor which highlights all of the web languages such as Ruby, TCL, Python, PHP, ASP, ASP.NET, ColdFusion, JSP etc...
I really need it :P |

The question is... Can you Compress your code in Zend Studio?
I'd rather use a Free PHP IDE since I don't charge money for my scripts.
Note: The downside of my IDE, is that it does not support Code Folding like
Zend Studio does, but I'm hoping they add it soon, that way it's completed.

Here is my editor...
It is called kate, and has syntax highlighting for a variety of different languages that is selected automatically.
It also has code folding, and you can view more than one file at a time, even different parts of the same file.
It is also free, and is part of the kde desktop environment _________________ Anthony R

PSPad doesnt look too bad but I don't think Id use it that often. Notepad.exe is usually good enough for me. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

I like Kwrite under *nix and Crimson Editor under Windows.
I can't get a screenshot of it right now though, since I wont see my laptop (which I had Kwrite on) in a few weeks thanks to my school.
