Thanks for any feedback. I'm running behind a Netgear router on an ADSL line. _________________ Red Lion

Thanks, I've already got Port 80 open in the WinXP firewall and in the router; the router points the port at my machine's address on my home network - not the same as the localhost address, for this router it's XXX.XXX.0.3. My ISP allows servers and this is a static IP Address. Any ideas?
I'm going to check the IP from work tomorrow, and see if it comes up for me. So far I've had 40 hits in the lst 6 hours, but they may be all mine. Gonna go reset the counter. Thanks! _________________ Red Lion

I recommend turning off the XP Firewall since your router is by default a firewall.
I noticed that when I had my XP Firewall running , it would slow down things. :/ |

If that's the right address for msn, you're offline. _________________ Red Lion

Yeah, so TRUSTpunk tells me ... I'm off to work to check it myself. So far I love this server, it's so easy to configure! Had more trouble setting up this box for it than the actual server.
I'm more of a working-class political activist than specifically a social democrat, BTW ...
