alright... i am new to all this server thing.. i have a full website stored in my computer.. and want to host it on my own computer.

Q. How can i register a domain name for my website and direct it to my server address?

Q. i asked a freind to check whether he could access my server or not.. unfortunately he could not access it. help me with this.?

Q. i want to run forums on my website. so how to configure them on my sever. i want to use phpBB forums.

A: you can register a domian name, a .com address or something like it costs money though, if ya want a free domian name http;//www.no-ip.con has free DNS
A: is there a firewall blocking port80 also if you have a router you may need to open some ports, could you post a link?
