|
|
I'm currently in the process of experimenting with a LAN setup, which I hope to move my websites to in the near future, after acquiring a static IP from my ISP. Right now, our websites are being hosted by a hosting service.
I've setup the Abyss HTTP server and an FTP server (Quick 'n Easy FTP), and our LAN is working fine. I also want to install perl, phpMyAdmin, MySQL, and an email server.
I'm just wondering, is there a particular order I should install these additional packages? I notice by reading other posts that one has to make changes in one particular package in order to make another function properly. I believe I also saw a way of enabling hosting of more than one domain using the current version of Abyss, but I believe it required php.
Thanks. |

Yes for phpMyAdmin you have to do this in order , the following list should
be installed in order , PHP , MySQL , phpMyAdmin. The rest of them doesn't
have to be installed in any order , hope this information helps. LateR! |
