Frontpage

i am a new user and dont know too much techinical stuf. kinda learing as i go. I use frontpage mostly because they have a photo album tool. how do i make abyss so i can have a frontpage tool utilized. ( when i try and save the document in the htdocs folder, it sais upload to a site with frontpage abilities).

I don't use frontpage so I could be wrong, but, I think it means upload to a website with frontpage extensions (or whatever else frontpage requires) installed.

i looked up that stuff and none tolled me how to make abyss a frontpage web server or how to post a picture gallery. ( i want to post a picture gallery, and in order for the feature to work, it has to be loaded in a frontpage server.)

Abyss doesn't support Frontpage Extensions - if your photo gallery depends on any of them to work, it cannot be used with Abyss. However, you can try just creating your website in the htdocs folder, then you won't need to publish it. If you find it works fine after that, the extensions are unnecessary. If not, there are plenty of other free tools to generate photo galleries that don't require FP extensions.
