				| A dedicated server is optimized for performance. Just as the name implies, "dedicated" servers are used for nothing else. No browsing. No gaming. Nothing but serving. 100% of the bandwidth
and space is "dedicated" to a single customer. They are not sharing the memory, processor, or
 bandwidth with anyone else.

So, it would be highly unlikely that a home PC could be used as a "dedicated" server.

when i said regular computer as dedicated computer i meant turning a regular computer to a dedicated server (no gaming browsing etc...)

i was just wondering is it worth getting a server form IBM or Dell / other or having a regular computer as a server?

				| Well, I guess it depends on how much you want to pay. Using a regular PC would definately be cheaper.
