Hi,
I have tried to install the guestbook from Matt's Script archive, but i keep getting 405 - Resource not allowed when i try to add a guestbook entry.

http://www.lindbergs.dynu.com/cgi-bin/guestbook/

The cgi.log saids the following:
Number found where operator expected at guestbook.pl line 26, near "//83.227.37.249"
(Missing operator before 83.227.37.249?)
String found where operator expected at guestbook.pl line 27, near "$guestlog = http://83.227.37.249/guestlog.html""
(Might be a runaway multi-line "" string starting on line 26)
(Missing semicolon on previous line?)
syntax error at guestbook.pl line 26, near "http:"
Execution of guestbook.pl aborted due to compilation errors.

I used to have the ip adress stated, but as it complained about that, I changed to the free dns supplier which forwards the adress to that very same ip. if you browse the guestbook.pl, there is no ip mentioned there.

The addguest.html can be found att http://www.lindbergs.dynu.com/addguest.html

Thanks for any help in this case.

Perl compilation errors result in Error 500. Error 405 means that you are POSTing data from a form to a file that isn't declared to be executable (or a CGI script.) In other words, you are POSTing data to a file which virtual path isn't in the CGI Paths table.

If you can't fix the problem, please send us the page that causes this Error 405 message as well as your abyss.conf file to support@aprelium.com and we'll explain you how to do.
