|
|
I have reciently installed the current Beta release and after some initial problems in instaling the free version of AHTML and navigating my way round the Beta's console config screens I've menaged to get everything up and running (with some help from forum members, thanks guys).
The problem I now have is that my asp pages are blank, no errors, no content, nothing!
I've double checked my interpretor settings and I have checked that the default index.asp and default.asp are set up in the server, but I'm not sure where else to look. The pages have been checked in AceHTML (HTML editor) and display ok when previewed there, but nothing on the published site.
Any ideas guys, I'm stuck?

I was helping someone getting ASP to work on their server and it also showed up blank because of Service Pack 2 but that may not be the case if you don't have it , make sure everything is correct and if it is correct , their is a possibility that Service Pack 2 is causing it. Have A Nice Day! |

Interesting. I have attempted a Service Pack 2 update, but the update failed for some reason I can't recall. So maybe if the update didn't fully roll back I have some it it applied?
Was there any resolution to thios problem for the other user you were helping? |

The only solution I could recommend is to try and find a solution because I
had no idea how to fix this , I told the dude to uninstall Service Pack 2. |

Does a static index.htm file show up?
You didn't specify other than it looked okay in your AceHTML editor.
Maybe uninstall everything (abyss beta, and ahtml) and reinstall the latest release of Abyss (non-beta) and then reinstall AHTML making sure everything's in it's place. _________________ ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
