When I trigger a POST to another website, Abyss fails with the error "unknown protocol".
Is there a setting or something that is preventing Abyss from passing on the query.
I am sending a piece of text to be translated by

Bibo,
As far as we know, "unknown protocol" is not an error that Abyss Web Server could report. Are you sure this isn't an error from your programing language or one of your libraries?
Can you give us more details about how that POST is made? _________________ Follow @abyssws on Twitter

Sorry for my belated answer to my own question.
I replaced the files that came with my copy of Abyss Web Server with the following more recent versions. They belong in the same directory as abyssws.exe
libeay32.dll (2,090,496 bytes)
libssl32.dll (352,768 bytes)
ssleay32.dll (352.768 bytes)
Thank you. |

The OpenSSL DLLs that ship with Abyss Web Server are built using a specific configuration that may not be found in DLLs with the same names from other sources. So you're on your own with such a tweaking... _________________ Follow @abyssws on Twitter
